Our lives are but a journey. We are born into this life, not picking the time, location, even our parents. Often, it isn’t until we are adults and even born again, that we realize we are so very flawed and fractured and sometimes feel helpless at times to break free. So it goes with the caterpillar. He would rather be out there flying needlessly about through the air almost effortless as a butterfly.
Life, however, is a metamorphic journey and there are many levels that we must go thru to steadily move us along the continuum to achieve butterfly status. Awareness of our need to accept Jesus as our Lord; us getting off the throne and letting Him take His position as the head of our lives. Recognition that the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in our life; leading us, comforting us, showing us His plan and our part to play.
Acts 1:8 Action: when there is a plan, there must be an execution of it and knowing the power source to accomplish all that God has for us to do. The transformation for us to move from caterpillar to a butterfly is a process and the transformation can be beautiful when we learn to glide in this journey called life. “for He Himself has said, ‘You must be holy because I am holy’” 1 Peter 1:16
